The Bible should be the main source of information that Christians use to live out the Christian lifestyle, but many are deceived by false doctrines. Many who profess to be Christians do not even read the Bible, but instead listen and follow 'the wisdom and traditions of men'. The purpose of this blog is to challenge and encourage a return to the Truths of the Whole Gospel of God and His Word and His Son, Jesus Christ and dispute false doctrines.

As the rate of those who believe the Bible is true and are real followers of Christ continues to decline, what the world will be like when Satan's one world government comes into full power is quickly becoming a realization. As many in the Church of Christ, no matter the denomination, stay silent while the liberal, Satanic agenda pushes more sinful laws and outlaws truth, the world is welcoming Satan with open arms. The Satanic motto promoted by the wicked Aleister Crowley "Do what thou will" is being accepted by more and more people every day.
What is a preview of a One World Government where the Bible and what it says is outlawed? Let's look at the state of current affairs.
Why are thousands of people dying monthly from drug overdoses? Why do people turn to opiates, alcohol, cocaine, benzodiazepines for comfort?
In one year, drug overdoses killed more Americans than the entire Vietnam War did
2015 was the worst year for drug overdose deaths in US history. Then 2016 came along.
Why are thousands of adolescents a month trying to kill themselves? Is not the godless public school system giving the kids what they need? Is not teaching them that they are nothing more than molecules or evolved animals not helping their self esteem?
Leading causes of death
Leading causes of deaths among adolescents aged 15–19 years:
Accidents (unintentional injuries)
Suicide
Homicide
If the hedonistic sexual doctrines that homosexuality, beastiality, pedophelia, fornication, is so good, why is the rate of HIV/other sexually transmitted infections increasing? Thousands of miserable, lonely, people, why are they not satisfied with just "hooking up"?

Music artists promote verses from the Satanic bible. Concerts with up-side-down crosses and other horrific imagery, all in the name of "entertainment" with many who believe they are Christians in the audience, singing, clapping, and dancing along as demons infiltrate their soul.
Pastors promoting, supporting, applauding movies about fornication, murder, witchcraft, adultery as if there is nothing wrong with any of these activities, it's just "entertainment".
As the world gets sicker, more depraved, and people continue dying from murders, diseases, drugs, the true Christians must wake from their slumber, remove the scales from their eyes, unplug their stuffed ears, and melt their cold hearts to return to the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To stop listening to Satan's henchmen that preach you can live a life of sin and still be blessed, that God is a forgiving God and that everyone gets to go to heaven.
God is going to judge this world and He does protect His own, His enemies He will utterly destroy on this earth and in hell. Hell is not preached on the TV Faith based television stations neither is it preached in most pulpits in America today. Hell is joked about by musical and entertainment artists. None of them will be laughing when they come face to face with their Creator.
There is going to be a Day of Judgment, and God will judge everyone who has ever lived, His wrath is going to poured out on all the wicked and ungodly. The eyes of the unrepentant wicked need to be opened and the ears unplugged so they can see and hear the truth. In order for the children of Satan to become children of God they must believe The Good News , Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, born of a virgin; Jesus lived and died but He rose from Dead, and now offers anyone who will believe in Him Salvation. Salvation is a free gift from God, anyone who will believes in the shed blood of the risen Savior, Jesus, will know and have a real relationship with the true God. You can't work for it or buy because the price has already been paid with the Blood of Jesus Christ and Believing in Jesus gets us into the Kingdom of God and saves us from the righteous wrath of God. But that is not all, He gives us a new heart and mind NOW, and we receive some of His blessing from heaven NOW and are equipped to be able to live a life that is holy and acceptable to Him NOW. (Romans 6:9; 10:9-13, Ephesians 2:8, Isaiah 7:14, 2 Corinthians 5:18-19).
1. Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is real, He lived and died and rose from the grave. (Romans 10:9-10)
2. Believe that you are a sinner, repent-turn from your sins and realize and accept you need Jesus. (Mark 1:15, Matthew 4:17, Acts 3:19)
3. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord and God. (Romans 10:9)
4. Find a local Bible preaching church that does obey the commandment for water baptism for the remission of your sins and to identify yourself with Christ. (Acts 16:31)
This is just the first step to a lifelong journey of growing in truth and love with the God who created this earth and everything in it, including every human being that has ever lived.

I was waiting on my car to be fixed and sitting in the waiting room. There was a TV in the room and the channel was on some game shows- "Let's Make a Deal" then "The Price is Right". It had been a long time since I watched The Price is Right show, the last time I watched it was when Bob Parker was the host, it was interesting to watch the show as although the host was different, the people were the same.
Bob was no longer the host, a new host was emceeing the game. Those in the audience were anxiously hoping their name would be called. An announcer was calling the names of those lucky contestants, "Come on down"; those randomly chosen to participate and play the game were so excited, some were jumping up and down screaming, so happy to have been chosen to try to win some prize e.g.-a car, money, household appliances, trips...I could not help but immediately think of the judgment seat of Christ.
But those whose names are in the book of life, Jesus will say "Come on down" He will say, "come My faithful servant into the inheritance prepared for you".
The contestants in the game show jump up and down when they find out they have a chance to win a car, they haven't even won the car yet, but they are running around the stage like crazy...people get so excited about worldly things, that get old, break down and thieves steal. On that Day, when and if Jesus calls your name that will be something worth jumping up and down screaming about. Actually, we should be jumping and shouting for joy NOW! The Lord is worthy to be praised, now, His mercy and grace are so AWESOME!
But, there is a serious issue, because Jesus said that many on that Day, will want the prize of eternity in paradise, but just like the contestants in The Price is Right who don't win the prize because they didn't guess the right price, (choose the right Savior), those who choose the wrong will lose the game of life. This is not about not winning some car or money, this is about losing an eternity with God in heaven. If that person's name is not written in the Lamb's Book of Life, Jesus will say, "Depart from Me, you worker of wickedness, go into hell, the place that was prepared for the devil and his angels, because you have rejected My free gift of salvation, now onto to your willful choice to be away from Me forever".
What a very sad Day that will be for those who are are not chosen. Many are called but few are chosen.
Winning some prize on some game show does not compare to winning the prize of salvation. We don't have to wait anxiously on our names to be called. True Christians have assurance their name will be called.
The price was right, Jesus took our rightly deserved death upon Himself and paid the exact right price needed to free us from the bondage of sin. There are many trials and tribulations on this earth including death, but death for the believer is just a doorway into paradise. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and what a glorious Day that will be.
There is going to be a Day of Judgment, and God will judge everyone who has ever lived, His wrath is going to be poured out on all the wicked and ungodly. The eyes of the unrepentant wicked need to be opened and their ears unplugged so they can see and hear the truth. The Good News is Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, born of a virgin; Jesus lived and was brutally tortured and shed His blood and died but He rose from Dead, and now offers anyone who will believe in Him Salvation. What is a person being saved from? Hell, the most horrible place we can imagine, it is an eternal place of torture away from the true and living God in a place in which all of God's goodness is removed. Salvation is not just about being saved from hell and going to heaven, Salvation is also about being adopted into the kingdom of God, you can become a son or daughter of the Most High and you inherit all the privileges of being a child of God. Salvation is a free gift from God, anyone who will believe will receive and have a real relationship with the true God. You can't work for it or buy your way into heaven because the price has already been paid with the Blood of Jesus Christ and Believing in Jesus gets us into the Kingdom of God and saves us from the righteous wrath of God. But that is not all, He gives us a new heart and mind NOW, and we receive some of His blessing from heaven NOW and are equipped to be able to live a life that is holy and acceptable to Him NOW.

Gone are the days of freshly cooked apple pies on the window sills, teens playing hop scotch in the park or 'red light green light, or kids chasing the ice cream truck in the summer, riding their bikes with no thoughts of the future, just having fun hanging with their friends. My eyes tear up thinking about how much has been lost because the people do not see, nor hear, nor follow the Truth. The people have bought in Satan's lies of "eat, meet, and be merry". The truth is not welcome in the churches, it's not welcome on the TV shows or movies, nor is it welcome in the homes or hearts of men. I already know that this message won't get many likes or shares; it's not about party's or prosperity or how you can get rich by sowing into the 'kingdom of 'god'. This is not a 'feel' good message and what is so desperately heartbreaking is that Jesus did not talk about many 'feel' good messages either. Jesus's first sermon was, "Repent for the kingdom of God is near". Today, the message of repentance and holiness is rarely heard on the main talk shows and posts, instead we have, "come as you are", "God loves just the way you are, you don't have to change". Jesus throughout His ministry talked about one thing-light versus dark, sinner versus the righteous/faithful, the sick versus the well. Jesus did not come singing "Kumbaya my Lord".
All that is happening in the world today is ludicrous, ridiculous, insane. The stories of what the wicked are doing are just flat out crazy. Below are just a few of the "What in the H. E. Double Hockey Sticks" is going on in the world today' headlines that are active now that show "We are not in Kansas" anymore:
"Mayor in Oaxaca, Mexico Marries a Crocodile For Good Luck"
"Artificial Intelligence (AI) is Making It's Way Into the Global Sex Technology Market"
"Zombies Protest In Germany Ahead of G-20 Meeting"
"Germany Police Busts Elysium Child Abuse Website That Had Over 87,000 Subscribers"

We don't need to go to the movies to see make-believe stories; the bizarre/horror/comedy/drama is very real on the streets and secret/open places of man's world today. Every kind of perverted, self serving fantasy can be served with the click of a button. Satan has given men what they want, 37 flavors of sin, pick what you want, combine flavors, you can get it however you want it. Hitler, one of the most evil men to ever live was not dumb, (even Satan knows the Scriptures) he made some profound statements that are true. One that speaks to the falling away today, " By the skillful and sustained use of propaganda, one can make a people see even heaven as hell or an extremely wretched life as paradise”. What is good is now called evil and evil called good. Most people don't want to know the truth, they live with their heads in the sand, blinded by the prince of this world. "All is well" they sing. While our children are dying and being sold for sexual sin, millions addicted to drugs and alcohol, sickness and hypocrisy and selfishness abound.
I know that there are still some good works being done. God always has His remnant. There are other's who talk about that. There are plenty of 'feel good' stories. Why I focus so much on the 'bad' is because the evidence is that it's the bad that is overtaking over the good at rapid rates. How did we get here? Because we were silent as the wolves crept into our churches, our homes, our hearts. "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil"
We sat dumb as they brought in unbiblical/Satanic doctrines into the pulpits. The Muslims protest and blow up people and destroy property over the slightest insult to their Muslim faith, but what about us "Christians". No, we don't protest the blasphemy of Jesus's name/image on the TV shows, cartoons, movies, or songs. No we SUPPORT these God-hating entities; we buy their music, go and watch their shows/movies, wear their clothing-and call it 'good'.
It is time for the Body of Christ to WAKE UP! There is no 'just live and let live'. The Word of God says that if you love ANYTHING of the world, YOU ARE NOT A TRUE BELIEVER!
DO NOT LOVE THE WORLD OR THE THINGS IN THE WORLD. IF ANYONE LOVES THE WORLD, THE LOVE OF THE FATHER IS NOT IN HIM. 1 John 2:15.
There is no 'a little darkness' is OKAY. It's either Light or Dark. Good or Bad. Sinful or Righteous. There is no combining of light with dark. The Bible clearly says this, "What fellowship does righteousness have with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And What accord has Christ with Belial-The Devil? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of God." 2 Corinthians 2:14-16. These are rhetorical questions because the answer to all of them is NONE! There is no connection to anything wicked/evil with God. If you call yourself a Christian, you are supposed to be the temple of the Most High God. So how can you be 'entertained' by the shows/songs/ or what ever that promotes Satanic ideals?
Why are you not sickened by the images, the words and doctrines they say? Because the love of the Father is not in you. Just because you said the 'sinner's prayer', got baptized, and go to church services every week does not prove that you are true born again, filled with the Holy Ghost believer. Paul makes this clear in Romans Chapter 8 verses 5-9, "For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity with God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can it be. So then, those who are in the flesh CANNOT please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, IF INDEED THE SPIRIT OF GOD DWELLS IN YOU. Now IF anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His." If you have the spirit indicates that a person can 'think' they have the Spirit of God, but don't really have it. Because there is verifiable proof if the Holy Spirit truly resides in you. RIGHTEOUS living-DISCERNMENT-ABILITY TO TELL RIGHT FROM WRONG.
Satan is the prince of this world and he has one agenda, "to steal, kill, and destroy". We fool ourselves thinking that it does not matter what we spend our time, money, and resources on. "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." 1 Peter 5:8. God is calling to His sheep; His sheep hear His voice which calls ALL to REPENT. Turn from the sins that so easily ensnares us, resist the temptations to sin against God to include being prideful and self-righteousness. I do not set myself up, I don't view myself has 'holier than thou'. I am no better than any other person. I am follower of Christ Who commands us to 'go into all the world' and preach/teach the WHOLE gospel. I am not good, I am only good because of Christ-it's His righteousness that I can boldly proclaim His truths. It is only through Christ that I even have a proper standing before God. God is a Great and Awesome God. There is nothing greater than knowing Him. The love and mercy He shows us is beyond understanding, but He does require us to live up to specific standards. Standards that are COMPLETELY different than the world.
There is going to be a Day of Judgment, and God will judge everyone who has ever lived, His wrath is going to poured out on all the wicked and ungodly. The eyes of the unrepentant wicked need to be opened and the ears unplugged so they can see and hear the truth. Today the world of religion is completely divided. And there is no more divided religion than Christianity. Now true Christianity is not a religion, it's a relationship with the One and Only True God. I use the term religion just as comparison label for this post. What is astounding to me is today, when preachers and teachers go out into the streets and highways and the college campuses, that people who call themselves "Christians", say that they are wrong for telling people about hell and what sins send a person to hell. This phenomena is not new. People in the dark have been 'throwing stones' at God's people since the beginning. Throwing stones is accusing someone of doing something wrong. David, who was chosen to be king by God over Saul, was fleeing his son Absalom in 2 Samuel Chapter 16 when a man from the family of Saul named Bahurim, came out cursing and throwing stones at David and all his people, incorrectly accusing David of stealing the kingdom from Saul and that Davids's problems were because of this. Bahurim's belief that David stole the kingdom was wrong, David did not steal the kingdom from Saul, God took it away from Saul due to Saul's disobedience. Another example of people throwing stones because of false beliefs is found in Acts Chapter 7. Young Stephen who was filled with faith and power from the Holy Spirit, was boldly preaching before the high priests at the Synagogue of the Freedmen. Stephen spoke the truth and said starting at verse 51, "You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit, as your fathers did, so do you. Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who foretold the coming of the Just one, of who you now have become the betrayers and murderers, who have received the law by the direction of angels and have not kept it." When they heard these things they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed at him with their teeth. (They were furious-just like those today who get enraged at the preaching of repentance from sins). But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, and said, "Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!" Then they cried out with a loud voice with one accord, and they cast him out of the city and STONED HIM. What brings to life the truth of the Bible is what I see happening today. Jesus and all the apostles warned of a coming apostasy. Paul said that there would come a time that they-the lost- will not endure sound doctrine, "For a time will come (that's now) when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from truth, and be turned aside to fables."2 Timothy 4:3-4. We have this truth before our very eyes!!! Practicing homosexuals in the pulpits, practicing adulterous and sexually immoral teachers, preachers, leaders in the church, and the church members. What 'sound doctrine' are they not enduring?
"Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie." Revelation 21:14-15.
"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. IT IS AN ABOMINATION." Leviticus 18:22.
"For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which is due, and even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness, they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful, who, knowing the righteous judgement of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them." Romans 1-26:32.
They will not tolerate the truth as evidence here in this picture, "cursing" these guys, "Homo sex is awesome".
Iask myself all the time, when I see on TV, like it did last night, on the news, a gay 'pastor' and his 'husband' talking about how 'God', wants them to help people; are they not reading the whole bible? What part of 'abomination' do they not understand? and the same goes for heterosexuals who have sex outside of marriage or commits any other sin. The bible is crystal clear that those who practice these things WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD!! The bible warns to not just be readers of the Word, but be DOERS of the word or else you DECEIVE yourself. Many show that they are doing this very thing. They go to church services every Sunday and Wednesday, but they live a wicked and immoral lifestyle. But they still believe they are going to heaven because they 'go to church'. Many who do not even go to church believe they are going to heaven, because 'everyone goes to heaven' no matter how they live. Many people do not think about the afterlife. They live like they are going to live forever in the state they are in. Many people are worried about the temporary pleasures of this life, but not what's going to happen to them when they die. Which is kind of crazy given it is an absolute guarantee that you will die some day. But today, those who tell these parts of the bible are derided by other's who say they are 'Christians'. "You are being judgmental, you can't tell people what to do, they are in control of their own lives" "God is a God of love, He doesn't send people to hell." Jesus gave His disciples the 'Great Commission". We are to GO into all the world, teaching them to observe all things He had commanded. Jesus taught about the kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness. Jesus talked about heaven and a very real and horrible place called hell. Christians today are to talk about the kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness, and we are to do so in and out of season. The truth is most definitely 'out of season' right now, but that does not change the duty of all those call themselves Christians.
Those who reject the truth have been throwing stones since God revealed His righteous laws. They throw literal stones and 'stones' of false beliefs. They were going to stone Jesus when they heard something they didn't like in John 8:58-59. Jesus said to them (the unbelieving Jews),"Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM." Jesus is God in the flesh. They didn't like this, not only did they not like what He said, they wanted to kill Jesus for saying it. The Truth. He came to die for our sins, He took our rightful place on the cruel cross of Calvary, to SAVE US FROM OUR SINS! How can people know what they are being saved from if they don't know what sins are in the first place? and How can people know what is the purpose of getting 'saved' without talking about what they are being saved from?
To those who feel called to take the gospel to where it is needed most, the streets, the colleges, the highways and byways, and the communities, stand firm in the faith. Let them who are perishing throw stones. If you are getting stones thrown at you, you are in good company, because all the true prophets of God had stones thrown at them, they were hated, and lied upon, they were ridiculed and persecuted. And they were part of the minority. Jesus said that FEW find the true gate and narrow road. So don't be discouraged when you are alone, but understand that we are never alone, because our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is with us all ways, where ever we go. He will never leave us or forsake us. They tried to keep our Savior locked down with a large stone, but no stone could hold our Savior, that stone was rolled away, He has risen and now we have a High Priest Who fights our battles and gives us power to remain true to His calling.
Tomorrow is not promised to any one.
There is going to be a Day of Judgment, and God will judge everyone who has ever lived, His wrath is going to poured out on all the wicked and ungodly. Most have heard about or played the game 'Monopoly'. The whole goal of the game is to end up with the most money and property, but at at any time you could lose your property, money, or end up in 'jail'; but, if you were lucky enough to draw a 'get out of jail' free card, you could avoid spending time in jail and get back to earning money/buying property. Monopoly is just a game, but it is a representation of the real world. What is sad is that many who profess to be Christians, treat the grace of God like a 'get out jail free' card. That they they can play-'live'- anyway they want and when they get in trouble, they can just pull 'the card'-"God's forgiving", and they 'promise' to do right, but instead of truly repenting and changing, they continue to live a life of sin, disobeying the commandments of God resting on the fact that God is merciful.
There are some biblical promises where the main point has nothing to do with man's response to the gospel but everything to do with God's work towards man. The issue of salvation is a 'free gift' from God, now free does not mean it didn't cost anything. Our freedom is the most costly thing to ever be bought/sold. Our freedom was bought with the sacrificed Blood of Jesus Christ.
"Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. For when were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while were were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:5-8
Yes, people must respond with faith to the offer of God and believe in His Son, but at the end of the day our salvation comes from God. We can't work our way to heaven; but we can mostly definitely work our way 'out' of heaven.
"Once saved always saved" is one of the most debated doctrines in the Christian world today, but what does the Bible say? One one end of the debate are those who believe in the 'once saved always saved' and they base this belief on a couple of passages, one being John 3:15, "that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." They interpret this to mean that once a person believes, that the fact that it says they 'have eternal life' indicates it's an eternal decision that can't be 'undone'. Another major verse in the 'once saved always saved' doctrine is Romans 8:38-39, "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thin, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Again, from this verse many believe that once a person believes and has the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that it is impossible for a person to lose their salvation. Others on the opposite end of the debate, believe that it is possible to lose your salvation, here are a few of their arguments against the 'once saved always saved' belief:
The parable of the sower found in Matthew 13:3-9, Mark 4:1-20, and Luke 8:4-15 is used in the argument against the always saved doctrine. They believe this passage means that all three of the different soils which represented a person's internal heart/soul) were saved from the moment the seed was dropped/planted; and that the seed that fell on shallow ground and was taken up by Satan is proof that people can lose their salvation. But one has to ask themselves is this really what this parable means? One has to remember and take into consideration the WHOLE counsel of God, because if you don't it's so easy to take one scripture and create a whole new doctrine that conflicts with other passages in the Word of God. At surface level it would seem that there are 'contraindications' in the Bible. There are competing passages that DO indicate that salvation is eternal and impossible to lose and there other passages that warn reported 'believers' that they do not 'forfeit' their salvation by continuing to live sinful lives. So which is it? Can a person who was once saved lose their salvation? The purpose of this post is not necessarily to dispute this issue, but I have to bring it up as it relates to the purpose of this post, but I will discuss my belief and why I believe this. First, I do believe that when a person 'truly' believes and are gifted with the Holy Spirit that they are saved always. So on the surface I do believe the 'once saved always saved', but I do believe that there are many who profess to be Christians who are not really and they are the ones who are at risk of 'losing out' on the free give of salvation. I believe that a person can go through the motions of becoming a Christian, confess that Jesus is Lord, get water baptized, go to church services, volunteer in the church/community, give and do, but they are doing all this in the flesh, and are not really saved in the way the Bible says people are really saved. How do I come to this conclusion? From the scriptures.
Everyone is familiar with the story of Judas, the betrayer. He is one example of a person who walked in the flesh WITH Jesus, but was not truly one of Jesus's saved. When Jesus called Judas, Judas was part of the 12 disciples, he was given all the same instructions as the others, he walked and talked with Jesus for those three years, and Jesus DID NOT dispute the fact that Judas was an actual member of the elite 12. Now here some will say, 'see this is an example of a person being saved and then losing their salvation.' But I don't agree with this. The bible makes it very clear that a truly regenerated, born again, Holy Spirit filled person cannot one day just decide, "You know what, this Christianity thing isn't working for me." and then go on to live a life completely contrary to the Word of God, and then decide to come back later in life. This is shown in Hebrews 6:4-6, "For it is IMPOSSIBLE for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame." There is a superficial response to the gospel that doesn't penetrate to the true heart of a person or a real response to the Gospel which leads to a completely new person, a new mind, a new heart, and the work of their hands leads to produce a hundredfold. People who believe they are Christians are warned to, "Test-Examine yourself as to whether you are truly of the faith." 2 Corinthians 13:5; and John, in 1 John 2:18-19 was talking to a church body of 'believers' when he gave this instruction; and in another place, it talks about some members who left but they were never really apart of the body to begin with in 1 John, they were 'anti-christs'-those who profess to be Christian but really are servants of their real master the devil,"They-the false believers/anti-christs- went out from us, but they were not of us; for IF THEY HAD BEEN OF US, they would have continued with us." The fact that those people, those who had once been a part of the church body, could leave and did leave, was proof they were not truly regenerated/born again Christians. Christ tells us that when we believe, we are 'reborn', so if a person could lose their salvation and gain it back again, it's like saying the person gets re-birthed again and again and this is clearly not shown in the scriptures. The re-birth is a one time event, not something to be entered in over and over again. Now this is not to be confused with 'growing up' a Christian. When a person is 'born again' ,they are a new creature, but just like a new born baby, there are 'baby' Christians. A new born Christian has to be nurtured and raised up just like a baby, the new Christian has to learn and abide in Christ, they must walk out and build their faith.
One other scripture that makes me believe in the false Christian is from Jesus's own words in Matthew Chapter 7 verse 21-23, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord' shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. MANY will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? And then I will declare to them, "I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness." What really stands out to me is the fact that these people actually had some power to cast out demons, prophesy, and do other miraculous things but Jesus still doesn't know them; and the fact that they were doing actual 'good' things, but they were only good on the surface. It would appear that the power these people did not come from God, but from Satan who is able to give his followers, 'puppet' powers, but they do not compare to the powers of All Mighty God! This is true as can be seen in the Old testament, with the story of Moses. When Moses went to confront Pharaoh, Moses performed some miracles but Pharaohs evil wizards did some too. So we can see that just because someone can perform miracles does not mean they are getting that power from God. Actually real Christians are warned not to believe what they 'see' because that is exactly how Satan is going to 'deceive' many, even the elect, by his counterfeit and lying 'wonders/miracles'. Jesus that Satan will deceive even the elect, Judas was an elected one, many are called but only a few are chosen, 'who ever' believes means that salvation is open to everyone, but the sad truth is many chose to reject Christ and instead embrace the lies and distortions of Satan
Jesus was teaching to the multitudes "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there many who many go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are FEW who find it". Matthew 7:13-14.
The Bible clearly talks about false religions and false doctrines. Paul and the others frequently had to dispute those who would twist the scriptures for their own gain.
This leads me to real point of this post, Are you truly a Child or God or not. This is the one question that every human being must know as it relates to their very life now and the life to come. I believe the greatest heresy in the Church today is that you can live anyway you want and God is OK with it because 'once saved always saved' and that God's grace 'covers' their sin'. This false belief is evident in the growing actively practicing homosexual pastors/leaders in the church, fornicators, greedy, selfish, and just down right evil in the churches today. Pastors on TV saying nothing is wrong with practicing same sex behaviors, because God 'created them that way'. Pastors and other leaders in the church being convicted for sex crimes, for financial crimes, committing adultery, sleeping around with members, child sexual and physical abuse is the dark secret in the church, young women who dress like prostitutes in the church services all the while praising God, church members who regularly lie, cheat, gossip, engage in immoral practices, but then go to church every Wednesday and Sunday and truly believe what they are doing is okay, no repentance or turning away from sin, they believe that God 'understands' them and He forgives them and that 'going to church' clears them of their wrong doing. I remember talking once to a man who was in a homosexual relationship. I told him about the love of God and how God does not approve of homosexual behavior, that it is just one of many different sins that He died to rescue us from. The man replied to me, "Oh, I believe in god, and I believe 'in my heart' that God approves of me and my lover, because we have 'real love' for one another." This is what many practicing homosexuals believe. But the Bible is clear, the heart of man is DESPERATELY WICKED, and that men deceive themselves into believing that they can live their life anyway they want and won't have to suffer any consequences for it; many believe that grace is their, 'get out of hell free' card, but the bible warns the danger of believing this way, "Do not be deceived, the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God-neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God." 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.
Becoming a Christian does not mean we won't sin anymore, but it does mean we will sin less and the more we partner and walk truly with God we will cling less to the sin nature and more to God. We are told that if we believe we are without sin we already sinning by believing a lie. We all sin and fall short of the glory of God, but God is quick to forgive us, but we CANNOT use this fact- God's love, forgiveness, and mercy for us- as a license to sin.
"Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have, You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, " The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously"? But He gives more grace, Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble." Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom." James 4:1-9.
And if you are still thinking grace allows you to live anyway you want, heed this other warning in Hebrews 10, starting at verse 26: "For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, THERE NO LONGER REMAINS A SACRIFICE FOR SINS, but a certain fearful expectations of judgement, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, count the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of Grace?"
Being an enemy of the One True and Omnipotent Holy God is beyond human imagination. One can think, stupidly, that they can handle hell or they are not afraid of God, but it is crystal clear in the Word of God that, "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God". Hebrews 10:31. God often 'cloaks' His deity in His physical interactions with His creation, He had to because no human eyes could really see Him an live, and just a little taste of His true self caused faithful men to feel great terror. In the Old Testament, men of God, men who were walking with God, at times in His presence, felt utter doom, for example Abraham in Genesis 15 verse 12, he is sleeping when a 'horror and great darkness fell upon him." ;and in another place, Hebrews 12:18-21 is talking about the time of Moses in the chapter of Exodus when God gave the Israelites the Ten Commandments written on stone, before Jesus's sacrifice the people could not approach or touch the mountain of God that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest, and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore. (For they could not endure what was commanded: "And it so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned or shot with an arrow."And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, "I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.") and one other verse about God, "But He is unique, and who can make Him change? And whatever His soul desires, that He does. For He performs what is appointed, that He does. For He performs what is appointed for me, and many such things are with Him. Therefore I am terrified at His presence; When I consider this, I am afraid of Him. For God made my heart weak, and the Almighty terrifies me; Because I was not cut off from the presence of darkness, and He did not hide deep darkness from my face." Job 23:13-17.
This is the question God is asking of all of us. Will we not fear Him, He Who's very breath is what gives man life. He who formed all the worlds, the sun the moon, all of nature's natural laws, He did all this with a thought and a word. We cannot hide our sin from Him. God is omnipresent, He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will repeat the warning given for all who call themselves Christian:
HILLSONG 'WITH EVERYTHING'
There is going to be a Day of Judgment, and God will judge everyone who has ever lived, His wrath is going to poured out on all the wicked and ungodly. The eyes of the unrepentant wicked need to be opened and the ears unplugged so they can see and hear the truth. The Good News is Salvation is a free gift from God, you can't work for it or buy because the price has already been paid with the Blood of Jesus Christ. and Believing in Jesus saves us from the righteous wrath of God. But that is not all, He gives us a new heart and mind NOW, and we receive some of His blessing from heaven NOW and are equipped to be able to live a life that is holy and acceptable to Him NOW. 1. Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is real, He lived and died and rose from the grave. 2. Believe that you are a sinner, repent-turn from your sins and realize and accept you need Jesus. 3. Confess that Jesus is your Lord and God 4. Find a local Bible preaching church that does obey the commandment for water baptism for the remission of your sins and to identify yourself with Christ. This is just the first step to a lifelong journey of growing in truth and love with the God who created this earth and everything in it, including every human being that has ever lived.
There is a superficial response to the gospel that doesn't penetrate to the true heart of a person or a real response to the Gospel which leads to a completely new person, a new mind, a new heart, and the work of their hands leads to produce a hundredfold.
